The Sherwood Illuminated Exterior Artwork
Di Emme created an exterior artwork for The Sherwood (ex-Wests Tennis Centre) based on an aerial map of Campbelltown. With Haron Robson’s lighting design the artwork is clearly visible from the train line and across the valley.
Yolngu Bark Painting Ceiling Installation Barker College
Di Emme developed a bark painting by Arnhem Land artist Caroline Dhamarrandji into a ceiling installation for the breezeway of Barker College Math and Student Hub. The work is comprised of 53 Corten powder-coated perforated aluminium panels.
Decorative Screens El Toro
The screens comprised of Rimex-clad steel frames with double-layer acrylic inserts partition the entry to the gaming area. The acrylic is hand-painted on the reverse to create a beautiful diffused onyx finish.
Ring Curtains at The Star Grand Hotel
Di Emme created the luxe curtains at The Star Grand Hotel comprising 4800 gold-anodised 30mm-deep aluminium rings suspended in spring-loaded frames
Corten Steel Signage Hope Anglican Church Leppington
Di Emme supplied and installed weathered Corten steel elements at the newly-built Hope Church including column cladding and signage. All requirements including backing frames and installation methodology were carefully considered to suit the builder’s program.
Luxe Gold Stairway Colombian Hotel Oxford St
Squillace architects designed the hotel renovations and Di Emme fabricated and installed the luxe gold wall on the stairway between the levels. The 600+ aluminium tubes are anodised in gold and adhered directly on the wall with great precision and care.

Leafy Screens, Westfield Chatswood
Di Emme produced the leafy screens on the Anderson St walkway. Producing artwork, laser cutting the design into aluminium, powder coating, and finally installing the screens in the structural framework.
Metal Lily Pads at Canterbury League Club
Lavishly sculpted metal lily pads that cascade down a gold mosaic wall were produced for Canterbury Leagues Club. Di Emme artisans. also fabricated water vessels from fibreglass with gold-metallic coated interiors and black exteriors.
Perforated Picture Panels at Chatswood Interchange
Similar to photographs in a newspaper, perforated metallic pictures form images from a series of dots. For the Chatswood Interchange, Di Emme translated a floral design into artwork and organised the fabrication and installation of the metallic panels.
Ode Tower, Dee Why RSL
Aluminium panels with hand-applied bronze patina featuring the archetypal poem, For the Fallen. Di Emme designed a font suitable for stamping and laser-cutting.
Florence Broadhurst Cockatoo Screens, ABODE Parkroyal
For ABODE restaurant at Parkroyal Darling Harbour, Di Emme sister company, Chiaro Screens, adapted legendary designer Florence Broadhurst’s cockatoos design. The screens delineate the space and add a touch of whimsical Australiana.

Suspended Metal Fabrication for Merrylands RSL Memorial Wall
Di Emme created the elaborate memorial wall in Merrylands RSL foyer for Quattro Architects. The Marmorino-finished wall has a stencil-applied stucco contrast depicting army, navy, air force, and nursing personnel.
A curtain of suspended metal cutouts completes the piece. The cut shapes, taken from the club logo, are finished in reflective stainless steel and bronze and brass anodised aluminium.
Metal Koi Mural Charlottes Lane, Westfield Chatswood
Two koi were lasercut from aluminium and then powder-coated and pinned to Vitrapanel to create the striking four-storey-high 3D koi mural based on Nanami Cowdry’s intricate drawings.

Art Nouveau-inspired redevelopment is comprised of individually hand-bent sinewy metal curves and an ornate pergola ceiling.
Window Restoration, Primus Hotel, Sydney
Di Emme restored and rejuvenated the rod and brass windows in the transformation of the Art Deco Sydney Water Board building into the five-star Primus Hotel. This intricate job involved redoing framing, remaking/re-cutting angles, and refashioning latches.
