Rose Hill Packet at Parramatta Square
From thorough research the artist, Chris Kenyon, designed a three-quarter stylised replica of the historic vessel, Rose Hill Packet, and invested Di Emme with the task of bringing it to life.
Beastman Wall Sculpture, Westfield Chatswood
Westfield Chatswood incorporated street art into the dining precinct of the upgraded centre. Di Emme worked with sketches from the renowned, Beastman, to create this soaring wall sculpture. The design incorporates a range of textures and materials: timber, metal, paint and a living wall.
Nanami Cowdry Koi Mural, Westfield Chatswood
Di Emme translated Nanami Cowdry’s intricate drawings of koi into precise panels laser cut from aluminium and powder coated. The panels are pinned to Vitrapanel to create a subtle 3D effect. Across the alleyway is a large work from graffiti artist, Anthony Lister.
Florence Broadhurst Cockatoos, ABODE Parkroyal
Di Emme sister company, Chiaro Screens, adapted the cockatoo design from legendary designer, Florence Broadhurt, for ABODE restaurant at Parkroyal Darling Harbour. The screens delineate the space with a touch of Australiana.
Jacqui Fink Lights, Sofitel Darling Harbour
Di Emme worked with wool fibre artist, Jacqui Fink, to create the magnificent lights at the Sofitel’s Esprit Bar. Di Emme constructed the framework and threaded 3000m of sparkle fibre optic cable around Jacqui’s fibre sculptures.
Contemporary Silk Sculpture, Nu Bambu
Working with the creative, Paul Kelly, Di Emme constructed a theatrical 8m-long sculpture from custom Shibori-dyed silk. The fabric is artfully wrapped around a wire armature, and the piece is lit to expose the interior framework.
Tribal Design Frieze, The Stanley PNG
Di Emme translated traditional PNG tribal designs into large scale Stonini panels for the foyer of the landmark hotel, The Stanley, in Port Moresby.
